Job Title:

We are seeking an exceptional individual to take on the role of Team Leader within our Employment Services team.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to relocate to the Northern Territory and embark on a leadership journey with our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a team of Employment Support Workers, providing guidance and support to ensure program goals are met
  • Develop strategies to enhance the program's effectiveness in supporting Indigenous individuals in their journey to secure meaningful employment
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with Indigenous communities, local employers, government agencies, and other relevant stakeholders
  • Collaborate with external partners to create opportunities for training, mentorship, and job placements

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Community Services or equivalent qualification
  • Previous leadership and team management experience
  • In-depth understanding of Indigenous cultures, histories, and contemporary issues related to employment
  • Able to travel up to an hour and a half from Alice Springs on a regular basis
