About the Role

Our organisation is seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Employment Opportunities Coordinator. As part of this position, you will be responsible for visiting local businesses to identify potential vacancy opportunities and engaging with customers to secure sustainable employment.

The ideal candidate will possess strong administration skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also be required to have a current driver's licence and intermediate to high-level administrative skills.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about making a positive impact in their community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To visit local businesses to identify potential vacancy opportunities and engage with customers to secure sustainable employment.
  • To maintain accurate records and reports related to job placement and customer engagement.
  • To develop and implement strategies to build relationships with employers and increase job placements.
  • To provide exceptional customer service and support to customers throughout the recruitment process.
  • To collaborate with colleagues to ensure individual targets and team goals are achieved.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current driver's licence.
  • Intermediate to high-level administrative skills including the ability to type at a minimum of 30 wpm.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet individual targets.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups of people including those from culturally or linguistically diverse backgrounds.
