Job Summary

This role involves providing leadership and strategic advice to support the planning and delivery of infrastructure, asset management, and maintenance programs across Queensland schools, staff housing, and early childhood education centers.

The successful candidate will have expertise in infrastructure planning, asset management, or a related field, with strong knowledge of contemporary asset management practices.

  • Lead the development and implementation of policies, strategies, and methodologies to support effective asset management and maintenance planning.
  • Provide high-level advice to executives, senior management, regional directors, and principals on a broad range of infrastructure, planning, and asset management issues.
  • Oversee the allocation of maintenance funding, including developing business rules and performance indicators for service delivery partners.
  • Undertake and guide data analysis from the Asset Life Cycle Assessment process to inform long-term investment planning.
  • Prepare reports and correspondence on infrastructure, planning, and asset management issues.
  • Lead and mentor a small team, fostering collaboration, capability development, and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain strategic networks and stakeholder relationships to ensure consistency, best practice, and effective service delivery.
