This executive contract position requires a senior professional to provide strategic advice and leadership on asset management planning and infrastructure delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective asset management methodologies and policies for Queensland schools and early childhood education centers.
- Provide high-level guidance on infrastructure, planning, and asset management matters to executives, senior management, and stakeholders.
- Oversee the allocation of maintenance funding, including establishing business rules and performance indicators.
- Conduct data analysis to inform long-term investment decisions and guide asset life cycle assessments.
- Prepare reports, briefing notes, and correspondence on infrastructure and asset management issues.
- Lead and mentor a team in fostering collaboration, capability development, and continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders.
- Proven expertise in infrastructure planning, asset management, or a related field, with strong knowledge of contemporary best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate programs and deliver evidence-based strategies.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with experience preparing high-level reports and correspondence.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on stakeholder relationships and collaboration.
- Experience in policy development and program evaluation, with a commitment to continuous improvement and long-term planning.
