A successful Senior Data Support Engineer is required to join our client's team in Victoria. The role involves supporting and maintaining data assets on various platforms, including the Cloud Data Lake and EDW.

The ideal candidate will have experience with AWS services related to data engineering, such as Glue, S3, Lambda, EC2, and RDS. They should also be proficient in programming languages like Python and SQL, as well as ETL/ELT frameworks.

In addition to technical skills, the Senior Data Support Engineer will need to work collaboratively with data consumers, database development teams, and IT support teams to ensure the smooth operation of the data platform.

Responsibilities:
  • Support and maintain data assets on Cloud Data Lake and EDW

  • Provide level 2/3 technical support for AWS, Control-M, Teradata, Snowflake, and ETL tool-based data integration solutions
