Child Development Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Psychologist to provide early intervention and therapy services to support children and families in maximizing their independence and participation.
About the Opportunity:This is an exciting opportunity for a registered psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team in Penrith, NSW. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering evidence-based early intervention and therapy services to support children and families.
The ideal candidate will have experience in completing risk assessments and mental health assessments and possess strong counselling skills with the ability to provide knowledge of therapeutic interventions to children, young people, and parents.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct standardized clinical assessments to determine goals and areas of need.
- Provide information, education, and support to clients and families.
- Develop functional, routine-based goals with clients and families.
- Provide evidence-based therapy interventions and resources.
- Review progress and set new priorities in collaboration with clients and families.
- Tertiary Qualifications: Hold tertiary qualifications in Psychology with current registration with AHPRA.
- Counselling Skills: Possess the ability to provide counselling and offer knowledge of therapeutic interventions to children, young people, and parents.
- Experience: Experience in completing risk assessments and mental health assessments is desirable.
