We are seeking an experienced and skilled Site Coordinator to lead our Community Centre team.

About the Role

This is a key leadership position that requires a warm, welcoming, and inclusive approach. The successful candidate will work closely with the management team, staff, and volunteers to deliver seamless service excellence.

Main Responsibilities
  • Establish a culture of respect, empathy, and understanding among team members, family members, and community partners.
  • Serve as a role model and develop staff by providing coaching, guidance, and feedback to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Assist in daily operations, covering breaks, and working as needed to maintain a smooth workflow.
  • Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including staff, management, and community partners, to promote collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Provide direct support to family members when required, completing referrals, service restrictions, and de-escalations as necessary.
  • Maintain a safe and trusting environment by mediating conflicts, addressing concerns, and intervening in crisis situations when needed.
  • Troubleshoot issues, provide problem-solving assistance, and lead calmly in emergency situations.
  • Represent the Community Centre professionally in all interactions, maintaining positive relationships with family members, staff, and community partners.
  • Uphold confidentiality and maintain professional boundaries while communicating relevant information between family members and other direct service staff.
  • Support workshop facilitators and volunteers, collaborate with management to evaluate programming, and collect participant feedback.
  • Actively participate in staff training, onboarding new hires, and attending meetings as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Collective Agreement and its implications for Community Centre staff.
