Job Title: Community Centre Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Community Centre Operations Manager. This role is open to all qualified applicants who possess a strong understanding of community social services and the ability to work with marginalized populations.

This is a unique opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a real difference in the lives of our community members. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a warm and welcoming environment, ensuring the support and security of staff, volunteers, and family members.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively with the management team, other departments, and community partners to deliver seamless service. They will also be responsible for promoting ongoing improvement of services while maintaining a family-centered approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere at the Community Centre
  • Cover daily operations, including supervising staff and volunteers, managing facilities, and ensuring policies are followed
  • Communicate effectively with the management team, other departments, and community partners
  • Promote ongoing improvement of services and maintain a family-centered approach
  • Support direct line staff with referrals, service restriction follow-ups, and de-escalations

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in a related social services field (preferred)
  • Certificate or equivalent in Trauma Informed Practices (asset)
  • Minimum 2 years experience in senior supervisory role in community social services sector
