Job Description:

 

This role is an opportunity to leverage your skills and experience in governance to champion high standards and improve business functions within a fast-paced environment.

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Space Systems Governance Specialist. As part of this role, you will be responsible for providing advice and assistance to internal and external stakeholders on complex governance matters in accordance with relevant policy and procedures.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing policies, processes and procedures consistent with Defence governance requirements
  • Coordinating and performing quality assurance, governance, auditing and corporate reporting activities
  • Designing and implementing solutions to issues impacting on the achievement of desired outcomes
  • Prioritising governance activities and tasks and taking the initiative to progress work to meet business objectives
  • Analysing information for continuous improvement opportunities, resolving problems and implementing alternative courses of action
