Job Description

This role supports the Speech and Language Therapy Team in delivering effective clinical support to children and families.

The successful candidate will lead the team, providing guidance and training where needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise less specialist Speech and Language Therapists, offering expert advice and training where required.
  • Support the development of the Speech and Language Therapy pathway within the Autism Diagnostic service.
  • Conduct specialist assessments of communication and provide therapeutic findings with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Direct and supervise less experienced SaLTs, utilising advanced skills and developing leadership abilities.
  • Contribute to the working of the multi-disciplinary team and act as a specialist resource for communication issues.
