Resort Manager Job Opportunity

The Resort Manager is responsible for the overall management of a residential complex located in Broadbeach on the Gold Coast, Queensland.

The complex consists of 3 towers and is home to 265 residential units and 10 retail lots. The successful applicant will be rewarded with an onsite unit with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a large courtyard. Inclusive of all utilities like electricity & water. You will also have a separate reception/office to run the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Property Letting: Manage the letting business comprising approximately 85 units in the holiday letting pool and 15 in the long-term letting pool.
  • Maintain trust accounting and daily trust receipting.
  • Daily/monthly bookkeeping using Xero.
  • Liaise with Body Corporates - Must be strong in this field.
  • Maintenance and Operations of the complex.
  • Fault-finding.
  • Managing reactive maintenance.
  • Complying with WHS standards.
  • Customer/client interaction.
  • Living on-site.
  • Management and body corporate reporting.
  • Managing staff.
  • Routine inspections.
  • Coaching and development of the team that supports you.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous on-site management experience.
  • Highly energetic and able to be 'hands-on' in this role.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges.
  • Good customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proactive attitude, use initiative and works to strict timeframes.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and/or without supervision.
  • Available to live on site.
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills.
  • RESLY and XERO experience will be highly regarded.
  • Previous experience in Facilities Management and valid trade qualifications will be highly regarded.
