Head of Marketing and Communications

We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative marketing leader to join our executive leadership team as the Head of Marketing and Communications. This is a senior role that forms one of the three pillars in the executive leadership team (product, growth, and operations).

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives customer acquisition, customer retention, and customer activation. They will oversee the development of brand collateral, internal and external communications, and marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a leadership role, experience with a range of marketing platforms and tools, and excellent communications skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives customer acquisition, customer retention, and customer activation.
  • Oversee the development of brand collateral, internal and external communications, and marketing strategies.
  • Manage junior marketing staff and liaise with external marketing agencies.
  • Liaise with the media to promote the brand and increase exposure.
  • Ensure that external communications are consistent and strong.
Requirements
  • Experienced marketing leader with more than 5 years of proven track record in a leadership role.
  • Experience with a range of marketing platforms and tools, and up-to-date with the most recent marketing techniques.
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven track record in a regulated environment (e.g. gaming, financial services).
  • Ability to promote an experience, rather than a product.
  • Ability to understand a new industry and its target audience quickly.
  • Ability to oversee and create content that will appeal to the target audience.
  • Be technology-savvy and have a passion for startups and fintech.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and attitude.
  • Experience with cryptocurrency is a must.
