About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing and Communications Specialist to join our team at Pacific People Solutions. As a key member of our communications team, you will play a critical part in crafting and sharing our story and amplifying our voice across various internal and external communication channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to support customer sales, employee engagement, and community relations.
  • Create compelling content, including written and visual materials, to engage our target audience.
  • Manage and grow our social media presence, staying up-to-date on the latest digital marketing trends and best practices.
  • Collaborate with key members of the management team, employees, and external partners to achieve our marketing goals.
  • Report to the Head of External Affairs and Communications, ensuring seamless communication and alignment with our overall business strategy.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in marketing or communications, preferably within the resources, manufacturing, and/or industrial sectors.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create clear, concise, and engaging content.
  • Experience managing company social media platforms and content creation and scheduling tools.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software, such as Adobe Suite or Canva.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Self-motivated, highly pro-active and resilient attitude.
  • A passion for sustainability and the critical minerals sector is preferred.
  • Willingness to learn with a flexible and enthusiastic attitude and capable of working in a fast-paced and changing environment.
