Development Manager Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Development Manager to join our Masterplanned Communities team in NSW.

As a key member of our team, you will work with a group of experienced property professionals to drive profit centre performance by delivering projects within cash flow and profit return benchmarks.

Your expertise will be applied to grow as part of a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team within Stockland, with the potential to work across various projects and gain exposure to the entire development lifecycle.

The role involves assisting the Development Manager to ensure the project is scoped, designed, and delivered in accordance with the business strategy, agreed vision, and schedule, revenue, and cost objectives are met.

You will also assist with financial plans, preparation and awarding of contracts, and securing of relevant approvals.

Additionally, you will develop and review rigorous Stakeholder Engagement Plans and demonstrate plans are driving strong engagement with key stakeholder groups to achieve required outcomes in a manner that enhances the image and reputation of Stockland.

Responsibilities include responding professionally and in a timely manner to customer issues, enabling cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring elements of relevant operational risk procedures and processes are implemented at the project level.

Requirements include a degree qualified in a related discipline and/or prior relevant experience in architecture, planning, construction, or the development process, including development or project management.

Experience in delivery of medium density or land development subdivisions would be highly regarded, as well as the ability to take initiative and be a self-starter, with developed stakeholder management and influencing skills, resilience, and excellent communication skills.
