Development Manager Assistant

At Stockland, we are seeking a skilled Assistant Development Manager to join our Masterplanned Communities team in NSW. This is an exciting opportunity to drive profit centre performance by delivering projects within cash flow and profit return benchmarks. You will work closely with a team of experienced property professionals, providing mentorship and development to progress your career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Development Manager to ensure the project is scoped, designed, and delivered in accordance with the business strategy and agreed vision.
  • Assist with financial plans, preparation and awarding of contracts, and securing of relevant approvals.
  • Develop and review rigorous Stakeholder Engagement Plans to drive strong engagement with key stakeholder groups.
  • Respond professionally and in a timely manner to customer issues.
  • Enable cross-functional collaboration to connect people and enable efficiencies.
  • Implement operational risk procedures and processes at the project level.
  • Support the tools, processes, and support offered by the Project Management function.
  • Assist with end of project/process review to identify strengths and areas for improvement.

About You:

  • Degree qualified in a related discipline and/or prior relevant experience in architecture, planning, construction, or the development process.
  • Experience in delivery of medium density or land development subdivisions.
  • Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter.
  • Developed stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Resilience and excellent communication skills.
  • Commercial acumen.
  • Strong report writing skills.
