AustralianSuper is seeking a highly skilled WHS Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Health and Safety team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being of our colleagues and the safety of our workplaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement WHS strategies and initiatives to minimize risks and hazards in the workplace
  • Conduct regular workplace audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with WHS legislation
  • Provide training and support to colleagues on WHS matters, including mental health and wellbeing
  • Manage WHS incidents and claims, and develop strategies to prevent future incidents
  • Develop and implement mental health and wellbeing programs to support colleague well-being
Requirements
  • Cert IV in Work, Health and Safety
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in WHS, with a strong understanding of WHS regulations and legislation
  • Proven ability to develop and implement WHS strategies and initiatives
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication
