Professional Engineering Position

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team, bringing experience and expertise in crane hire and rigging services.

This role offers a mix of consulting office work and short-term site-based projects, providing opportunities for growth and professional development.

  • Prepare lift plans and drawings using specialized software
  • Monitor lifting activities to ensure compliance with project standards and specifications
  • Conduct crane audits and inspections, and report on outcomes
  • Write safety procedures for specialized works and conduct inductions
  • Prepare quotations for specific jobs and handle operations

In addition to the key responsibilities, this position may also involve:

  • Mechanical and structural design using AutoCAD
  • Interpreting and applying industry standards for design and analysis
  • Maintenance project management

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • An engineering degree with good academic performance
  • An interest in cranes, rigging, and heavy lifting
  • A desire to expand engineering skills into other areas
  • Heavy industrial, mining, or construction site experience
