Mechanical Engineering Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to provide comprehensive crane hire and rigging solutions across Melbourne and Victoria.

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in providing technical support for lift plans and drawings using Krane expert and AutoCAD.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed lift plans and drawings using specialized software and tools.
  • Monitor lifting activities to ensure compliance with project standards and specifications.
  • Conduct regular crane audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and report on outcomes.
  • Write comprehensive Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) for specialized works and conduct inductions.
  • Prepare quotations for specific jobs and handle operations effectively.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • May be involved in mechanical and structural design using AutoCAD software.
  • May interpret and apply relevant industry standards for design and analysis.
  • May manage maintenance projects and oversee technical aspects.
Requirements:
  • Hold an engineering degree with good academic performance.
  • Have a strong interest in cranes, rigging, and heavy lifting technologies.
  • Desire to expand engineering skills into other areas.
  • Have significant experience working in heavy industrial, mining, or construction site environments.
