We have a steady stream of work, and our engineers and designers are busy. If you're a Mechanical Engineering professional or Administrative Assistant interested in cranes and rigging, this could be an exciting opportunity.

About The Role

This position involves a mix of consulting office work and short-term site-based projects. Responsibilities include:

  1. Lift Planning and Drawing Preparation
  2. Monitoring lifting activities to ensure compliance with project standards and specifications
  3. Conducting crane audits and inspections, reporting on outcomes
  4. SWMS Writing and Induction Conducting
  5. Preparing quotations for specific jobs and handling operations

Depending on your experience, you may also be involved in:

  1. Mechanical and structural design using AutoCAD
  2. Interpreting and applying standards for design and analysis
  3. Maintenance project management

To succeed in this role, you'll need to:

  • Hold an engineering degree with good academic performance
  • Have an interest in cranes, rigging, and heavy lifting
  • Be eager to expand your engineering skills into other areas
  • Have heavy industrial, mining, or construction site experience

You'll also need to be a confident communicator focused on developing relationships with clients and project stakeholders, solve problems with clients' needs in mind, have an eye for detail and a commitment to quality work, be eager for a challenge and open to trying new things, and enjoy working in a friendly team environment.

Location: Cranbourne West, Melbourne. Depending on individual interests, scope of work can be expanded to include site inspections across Victoria. Training will be provided.
