About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Branch Manager to join our team at Remondis Australia Pty Ltd. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the success of our operations in the southeast region of Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business operational strategies to achieve sustainability and growth
  • Lead and mentor a team of dedicated employees, promoting a culture of collaboration and accountability
  • Optimize operational workflows to ensure maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards
  • Drive continuous operational improvement through financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting
  • Foster strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies to enhance business partnerships
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Have an inquisitive mindset regarding data analytics, process improvement, and procedural innovations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or similar; or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in operations and/or sales management
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to self-manage and work to business objectives and targets
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role within the waste, logistics, and heavy industry sectors
