Field Service Technicians Wanted

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team.

The successful candidate will provide front-line support for automated ticketing systems, ensuring they operate at their optimum performance level. This role involves scheduled preventative maintenance and remedial maintenance on local and wide area networks, software rollouts, and vandalism call-outs.

This position requires the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders, perform technical duties involving a range of procedures and tools, and resolve complex/critical failure situations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing varied technical duties involving the use of diagnostic systems to debug and isolate complex faults to component level
  • Resolving complex/critical failure situations
  • Reporting to supervisors or other responsible personnel any potential non-conformance or problems
  • Maintaining service records or reports in accordance with company procedures
  • Providing new system installation and system upgrades

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience within a field services environment, knowledge and understanding of IT service management (ITSM) systems, and electrical and mechanical schematics. Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.

Requirements
  • A valid WH&S general induction card
  • A RIW card (Rail Induction Worker) for fixed asset workers only
  • A current drivers' license
