About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Educator to join our team at Busy Bees Australia Employer Pty Ltd. As a key member of our educational team, you will be responsible for leading and guiding our educators to provide high-quality early childhood education and care to our children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Mentor Educators: Provide guidance, support, and direction to our educators to ensure they are equipped to provide exceptional care and education to our children.
  • Develop and Implement Educational Programs: Design, implement, and assess educational programs that cater to the individual needs of our children, ensuring they meet the requirements of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS).
  • Communicate with Families and Colleagues: Develop and maintain positive relationships with families, colleagues, and management to promote a collaborative environment and ensure effective communication.
  • Contribute to a Culture of Excellence: Foster a culture of excellence within our service, promoting a commitment to quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Diploma in Early Childhood Education or a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or an equivalent as recognized by ACECQA).
  • Experience: Previous experience in a Lead Educator, Room Leader, or similar role in an early childhood setting.
  • Skills and Attributes: In-depth knowledge of the EYLF and NQS, strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to guide and mentor educators, and experience in designing and implementing educational programs.
