Based at our Penrith recycling facility, we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced manufacturing professional or operational leader wanting to progress their career. This autonomous role will be accountable for leading and managing all aspects of operations, including safety, people management, quality, and financials.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring safe operations in accordance with our policies and procedures
  • Managing site budgets and financial integrity
  • Providing leadership, direction, and development to the team within the facility
  • Managing direct reports (headcount of 20 FTE + casuals and contractors)
  • Ensuring production stays on schedule and quality standards are met

What you'll bring to the team:

  • Relevant qualifications in manufacturing, business, or engineering would be beneficial
  • Prior leadership experience working within a manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, excellent team-building and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS office products, Word, Excel, SharePoint
  • Ability to understand and read P&L reports and balance sheets
