Drive operational excellence in a fast-paced retail environment as a skilled Operations Manager. This role involves overseeing back-of-house operations, leading a team to deliver store performance, and partnering with management to enhance stockroom efficiency and customer experience.

">Key Accountabilities:
  • Oversee all back-of-house operations to ensure seamless stock flow, efficient operations, and positive customer experiences.
  • Lead the team to achieve store operational excellence through effective stock management and loss prevention activities.
  • Partner with retail management and visual merchandising to drive continuous improvement in stockroom efficiency, refill processes, merchandise presentation, and stock schedule recommendations.
  • Manage daily financial operations including end-of-day reconciliation, banking procedures, and secure cash handling according to company policies.
  • Provide training and development for the team on operational excellence, focusing on key processes like Magenta, Connected Retail, and stock availability.
  • Maintain a well-organized and efficient stockroom adhering to established standards, manage deliveries, ensure accurate inventory management, and guarantee the safety and security of the stockroom.
  • Identify and propose opportunities for further operational efficiency via process improvements (e.g., inventory management, ISF, and C&C), utilizing available technology, and sharing best practices. Pilot and support new initiatives aimed at increasing productivity, reducing waste, and enhancing back-of-house operations.
  • Implement and adhere to WHS policies and procedures, guidelines, and safe work practices within your area of responsibility.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a stockroom or warehouse management role, preferably within a retail environment.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management systems and processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team to achieve operational goals.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong understanding of WHS procedures and practices.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for stock management and reporting.
