About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled System Support Officer to join our team in the Information Compliance Directorate. As a key member of the Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide Implementation Taskforce, you will play a critical role in supporting the management of information and data assets throughout their lifecycle.

The successful candidate will have experience in system management and administration, as well as strong stakeholder engagement skills. You will be responsible for coordinating work-flows, obtaining and formulating business rules and requirements, and facilitating administration changes. Additionally, you will have the ability to engage with internal clients and external stakeholders to support the section's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate work-flows and prioritize tasks to meet agreed deadlines and KPIs.
  • Obtain and formulate business rules and requirements from Taskforce members and convert them into process artefacts.
  • Facilitate administration changes, such as access requests, input data changes, and general maintenance.
  • Engage with internal clients and external stakeholders to support the section's business objectives.
  • Experience with electronic management systems, sentencing, and records management processes.

The Information Compliance Directorate is responsible for undertaking planning to ensure the Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide Implementation Taskforce remains fit for purpose and Defence has options beyond the delivery of the Royal Commission final report. We are a dynamic team that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
