About the ScholarshipPostgraduate scholarships are available to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Master by Research degree at an Australian university.
Eligibility CriteriaTo be eligible, applicants must:
- Be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent;
- Hold a bachelor's degree with honors or a master's degree in a relevant field; and
- Meet the admission requirements for a PhD or Master by Research degree at a participating Australian university.
The scholarship provides:
- A stipend of AU$35,000 per annum;
- Tuition fees paid by the funding body;
- Funding for research-related expenses;
- Support for conference attendance and professional development opportunities.
