Early Childhood Development Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as an Early Childhood Coordinator. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families, supporting their development and well-being. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with families to help children reach their full potential through effective planning and support.
The successful candidate will possess a diploma or higher qualifications in Early Childhood, Allied Health, Social Work, or a related field. You will be equipped with the skills and knowledge to support evidence-based decision-making, complete functional assessments, and connect families to community services and mainstream programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support families through a child-centred approach, ensuring children receive the appropriate interventions based on best practice evidence.
• Use your expertise to inform evidence-based decision-making and ensure timely referrals to appropriate support pathways.
• Complete functional assessments for children with developmental concerns or disabilities, determining their needs and ensuring timely referrals to appropriate support pathways.
• Connect families to community services and mainstream programs to enhance their social participation and access to essential services.
• Guide families through NDIS plan reassessments, gathering evidence, assisting with goal development, and ensuring the right support is in place.
