- This is a pivotal role where you will play a key part in delivering the NDIS Early Childhood Approach to support children under nine years of age who have developmental delays or disabilities, and their families/carers.
- You will be working closely with families to facilitate access to the most appropriate early intervention pathways, including community supports and the NDIS.
Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing the NDIS Early Childhood Approach in a family-centered approach.
- Building strong relationships with families, community organizations, clinical services, and education settings.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Early Childhood, Allied Health, Social Work, Psychology, or an equivalent area.
- Current Working with Children's Check or VIT registration.
- National Police Criminal History Check (arranged by employer).
- Valid full Victorian Driver's Licence.
Desirable Qualities
- Experience as a practitioner in the child, youth, and family welfare field.
- Commitment to culturally safe and supportive environments for children and families.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build meaningful connections.
