Environmental Services Assistant Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic space for residents.

About the Role
  • Clean and disinfect resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms and other facilities as required.
  • Manage waste disposal, including regular trash and medical waste, in accordance with proper guidelines and safety protocols.
  • Promote infection control by following strict procedures, such as using appropriate cleaning agents and personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of infections.
  • Ensure that cleaning and hygiene supplies are adequately stocked and available for residents and staff.
  • Operate floor scrubbers, vacuums, cleaning trolleys and other equipment as necessary.
