Electrical Maintenance Specialist

The Electrical Maintenance Specialist plays a critical role in our production team, supporting crew members through proactive maintenance and prompt support during breakdowns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure commitment to safety, quality, and environmental sustainability
  • Carry out electrical repairs on fixed plant with emphasis on planned and predictive/preventive maintenance.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations team during breakdowns, fault finding, and troubleshooting issues
  • Respond promptly to callouts and unplanned maintenance ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Maintain PLCs and circuitry.
  • Perform inspections, servicing, and repairs in accordance with site requirements.
  • Execute major overhauls during various plant shutdowns.
  • Focus on continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide guidance to contractors and work groups as required.
Requirements:
  • Trade qualified (Valid unrestricted electrical license)
  • Demonstrated experience working as an Electrician in an industrial environment.
  • A high level of fault-finding expertise.
  • PLC diagnostic experience.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • A confident, self-motivated individual with strong teamwork abilities.
  • Able to work autonomously and without direct supervision.
