A comprehensive and engaging contract administrator is sought to join our dynamic team in Northern NSW. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing contracts from preparation to administration, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards, and mitigating risk.

About the Role

As a senior contract administrator, you will oversee contract preparation, negotiation, and administration with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors, maintaining accurate records of all contracts and related documents. You will also address and resolve disputes or issues arising during the contract lifecycle.

  • Contract Management: Develop and implement effective contract management strategies to mitigate risks and ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify and assess potential risks associated with contracts and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Cost Control: Manage cost control for head contract claims, variations, subcontract claims, and monthly cost reporting, providing accurate and timely financial information to stakeholders.
  • Document Control: Maintain accurate records of all contracts and related documents, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Dispute Resolution: Address and resolve disputes or issues arising during the contract lifecycle, negotiating fair and reasonable outcomes.
About You
  • Strong understanding of contract law and regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with jobpac is highly regarded.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Construction management degree or relevant qualification.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in contracts administration with complex contract negotiations and management.
