Job Description

A rail operations coordinator is a vital role within our team, responsible for managing live train operations to meet internal and external customer expectations.

  • Assisting in managing train crew rostering changes within the live run period
  • Communicating with track access providers, customers, train crew, maintenance providers, and terminal staff to achieve required service delivery
  • Compiling and reporting shift diaries
  • Assisting in managing incident and fault reporting
  • Assisting in managing contingency planning to achieve the optimum result in service delivery
  • Supporting the shift manager and manager on duty with tasks as required
  • Generating paperwork and data entry in a timely manner to allow services to depart
  • Updating relevant Train Management Systems

This involves collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and efficient decision-making.

In this dynamic environment, you will work closely with other teams to maintain regular contact with clients, track customer complaints/issues, and follow up with relevant departments to resolve and provide feedback.
