About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk and Compliance Consultant to join our team at King & Wood Mallesons. As a senior client-facing risk advisor, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert advice on transformation projects, regulatory implementation, and remediation programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice on transformation projects, regulatory implementation, and remediation programs
  • Lead reviews and development of risk and compliance frameworks, standards, and policies
  • Conduct compliance monitoring and assurance activities, documenting the existence and adequacy of controls
  • Support clients to complete regulatory impact assessments and implement regulatory change
  • Participate in business development activities, including client presentations, proposal development, and networking events
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in banking or financial services consultancy
  • Ability to foster strong client and stakeholder relationships
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and apply rules to diverse circumstances
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated project management skills, coupled with the ability to manage various workstreams and stakeholders
