Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our Risk Modernisation team in Sydney or Melbourne.

As a Specialist, you will be part of a team delivering core risk and compliance solutions to clients across various industries, including financial services, retail, corporate, and government.

Your primary responsibilities will include supporting and advising clients on the development and implementation of risk frameworks, assessing risk programs, implementing controls testing and uplift, and designing and implementing compliance programs.

Additionally, you will support Partners, Directors, and Executives in identifying and executing business development activities to build the Ashurst Risk Advisory brand.

About the Role:

  • You will have 3-5 years of experience in a client-facing role within a well-respected consulting firm, with a focus on risk and/or compliance management.
  • You possess proven experience in risk management, including developing risk management strategies and controls.
  • You have excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • You are passionate about collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team and have experience managing multiple projects throughout their entire engagement lifecycle.
  • You have the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-moving and complex environment.
  • You have a desire to lead and nurture, including helping peers develop their technical skills and contributing to a positive team culture.
