The Role

We are seeking experienced senior project managers with tier one building experience to join our team in Fraser Coast Regional, Australia. The primary purpose of the role is to assist in the successful delivery of a component of the project in accordance with design requirements, time and cost constraints, and commercial, HR, safety, quality, and environment and community targets.

  • Manage the delivery of a project component on or ahead of time with all client expectations met.
  • Assign resources to deliver the works within budget, time, quality and regulatory standards, monitor workflow, setting daily, weekly, and long-term project goals.
  • Manage the execution of engineering, procurement and construction activities and adopt appropriate construction methods.
  • Review progress against plans, contractual arrangements and delivery milestones to ensure they are on schedule and within quality and cost estimates and take effective remedial action as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve or exceed project financial targets, identifying and mitigating issues as they arise and capitalising on opportunities.
  • Demonstrate leadership in health, safety and environmental management.
  • Demonstrate leadership in risk management, compliance and auditing, and ensure legislative obligations are met, including compliance with the relevant Building Code.
  • Stakeholder management: Ensure that stakeholders are actively engaged and that beneficial relationships between the project and the client, subcontractors, community and other external parties are developed and maintained.
