Job Opportunity

A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Coastal Engineer to join their Ports and Maritime team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on coastal and maritime engineering projects, collaborating with a cohesive team to deliver smart solutions.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced professional with expertise in coastal and maritime engineering to manage the production of metocean studies, design marinas and small craft facilities, and plan and design coastal and maritime infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Scope and manage project deliverables from start to finish
  • Lead the planning and design of coastal and maritime infrastructure
  • Manage teams to deliver projects in accordance with HSE and QA policies and procedures
  • Prepare proposals and fee estimates for consulting projects
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders for service delivery and business development
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers
Requirements
  • Degree qualified in Civil, Structural or Maritime Engineering (or Similar)
  • Minimum 6+ years' commercial experience in a similar role
  • Established knowledge and experience in asset management, maritime structures and port engineering
  • Experience working on large-scale coastal and maritime infrastructure projects
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
