Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.

This role involves conducting thorough inspections and tests, identifying non-conformities, and maintaining the highest standards of product quality and safety.

The ideal candidate will have relevant industry experience in a Quality Assurance role, or a role with transferrable skills and knowledge. They will also possess relevant qualifications and be able to read and understand technical drawings, standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed inspections of precast concrete products, including visual, dimensional, and structural checks, as well as material and component testing.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspection and test results, non-conformities, and corrective actions taken.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining quality assurance programs and processes, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and specifications.
  • Identify and document non-conformities, including defects, deviations, or deviations from quality standards, and assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Monitor and document production processes to ensure they are in accordance with approved procedures and quality requirements.
  • Assess the quality of materials and components received from suppliers, conducting inspections and quality checks as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during inspection activities and report any safety concerns.
  • Provide training and guidance to production and quality control teams on quality standards and inspection techniques.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Relevant industry experience in a Quality Assurance role; or a role with transferrable skills and knowledge.
  • Relevant Qualifications.
  • Able to read and understand technical drawings, standards and procedures.
  • A commitment to consistently follow approved quality assurance procedures and standards, without deviation.
  • Thorough understanding and compliance with WHS on a construction/manufacturing site.
  • Precise attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with the Project Team.
  • Demonstrated proficient time management skills to effectively complete tasks within designated timelines.
  • Confidence to make decisions and address quality concerns if/when they arise.
  • A desire for continuous learning and improvement.
  • A team player that makes a positive contribution to team morale and company culture.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
