Financial Accountant Role

We are seeking a qualified Financial Accountant to perform various accounting and financial tasks.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparation of accurate and compliant financial statements for review by stakeholders.
  • Performing in-depth financial reviews and audits, drafting comprehensive reports, and advising on key financial decisions.
  • Reviewing operational expenses alongside revenue and expenditures to analyse organisational financial performance.
  • Ensuring the accuracy and compliance of data presented in financial statements.
  • Advising on financial strategies, tax implications, and business structuring to support operational goals.
  • Completion of tax returns for both individuals and corporate entities.
  • Establishment and management of funding and investment arrangements with banks and financial intermediaries.
  • Setup and maintenance of accounting systems, including recommendations for computer-based accounting solutions.
  • Implementation of internal control measures to safeguard financial integrity.
  • Conducting assessments of cash flow and evaluating financial risks associated with capital investments when required.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor in Accounting (Masters in Accounting preferred).
  • At least one year experience in a similar role.
  • High level attention to detail, friendly and professional phone manner, and strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate excel skills.
  • Strong communication skills to maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and to prioritise conflicting tasks through effective time management.
