Regional Commercial Growth Director

Thrive is seeking an experienced leader to drive commercial growth, deliver exceptional client outcomes, and nurture a high-performing team in Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute the local business plan, aligned with Thrive's ANZ strategy.
- Drive revenue targets and maintain healthy client portfolios.
- Elevate Thrive's market profile through thought leadership, events, and strategic partnerships.
- Provide senior counsel to C-suite clients and oversee high-impact campaigns.
- Build and inspire the team and connected village, fostering a culture of care, creativity, collaboration, and high performance.
- Champion operational excellence, ensuring systems, processes, and resources are optimized for sustainable growth.
- 12–15+ years' senior leadership experience in PR, communications or a connected industry role.
- A mix of B2B and B2C consulting experience, ideally with a background in culture, technology, and government.
- A track record of commercial growth, agency client retention, and building high-performing teams.
- Outstanding local business and media connections, as well as industry presence in Melbourne and nationally.
- Proven ability to lead strategy and execution across integrated campaigns.
- Exceptional relationship skills, confident in both boardroom and on-the-ground situations.
- A values-led leadership style championing collaboration, curiosity, and care.
- Commercial nous, operational clarity, and the ability to identify and seize opportunities.
