Project Director Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of high-profile commercial construction projects across the Rockhampton region.

  • To be successful, you will have proven experience managing commercial, industrial, education or health projects
  • A strong working knowledge of building contracts, construction methodologies, and local compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication, scheduling, and stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to manage a team of Contract Administrators & Supervisors/Foreman
  • Qualifications in construction management, project management, engineering, or a related field

This is a hands-on role overseeing the design, procurement, construction, and handover of commercial construction projects. The successful candidate will ensure the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest commercial building standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the project team to deliver the project safely, on time, and within budget
  2. Oversee the design, procurement, construction, and handover of the project
  3. Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards
  4. Develop and implement effective project management plans, schedules, and budgets
  5. Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers
