As a Corporate Communications Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's narrative and promoting its values.

- Monitor social media and media coverage to identify potential risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Manage media measurement and reporting across the business, providing actionable insights to inform decision-making.
- Support the Corporate Affairs team in managing issues and delivering timely communications, ensuring seamless stakeholder engagement.
- Initiate and manage media relations for advocacy programs, fostering strong relationships with key influencers and stakeholders.
- Assist with media requests, launches, projects, and reporting, ensuring that all communications align with the company's goals and values.
- Manage social media channels, including publishing, monitoring, and responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
- Contribute to the running and effectiveness of the IAG Newsroom, providing expert guidance on content creation and distribution.
- Regularly review and update media and stakeholder lists, ensuring that all information is accurate and up-to-date.
- A minimum of 2-3 years' relevant industry experience, preferably in corporate public affairs or a related field.
- Experience as a journalist or in a corporate communications team, with a proven track record of successful campaign management and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong communication skills, particularly writing and verbal communications, with the ability to adapt tone and style to suit different audiences and formats.
- An understanding of the way the media operates, with the ability to navigate complex news landscapes and identify opportunities for effective storytelling.
- Initiative and a can-do attitude, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
- Attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- A strong interest in corporate communications and current affairs, with a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices.
- University qualifications, preferably in a field such as communications, journalism, or public relations.
- Ability to use databases, PowerPoint, and Word skills, with proficiency in other software applications as required.
