We are seeking a skilled and motivated Corporate Communications Specialist to provide support to our corporate communications team.

The role involves providing expert advice on social media, media relations, measurement, and general external corporate communications support. You will be responsible for monitoring social media and media coverage of our industry to identify potential risks and manage our online presence.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and respond to social media and media coverage to ensure timely and effective communication.
  • Develop and implement strategic communications plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Provide expert advice on media relations, including crisis management and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver timely and effective communications.
  • Initiate and manage media relations activities, including media requests, launches, and reporting.
  • Contribute to the development of content and ideas for our social media channels.
  • Assist in managing our media and stakeholder lists to ensure they are up-to-date and accurate.

Requirements:

  • Relevant industry experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, particularly writing and verbal communications.
  • An understanding of the way the media operates.
  • Initiative and a can-do attitude.
  • Attention to detail.
  • University qualifications.
