Key Responsibilities:
- You will strive to ensure that patients experience high-quality care that is safe, compassionate, and tailored to their needs.
- You will lead, support, and supervise other healthcare professionals in delivering patient care.
- You will work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve excellent outcomes and continue to innovate in approaches to practice.
About the Team:
You will be working on a Surgical unit specialising in Ophthalmology and Hand surgery. You will also have the opportunity to work in the hand clinic.
Selection Criteria:
- Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
- Demonstrated recent clinical experience in medical/surgical and/or emergency or perioperative settings.
- Demonstrated strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to identify key messages, issues, and concerns when communicating with others.
- Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team and apply professional and ethical boundaries when dealing with complex situations.
- Current computer skills and proven ability to use health information systems.
- Demonstrated ability to advocate for and implement person-centred practice.
- Demonstrated application of evidence-based practice and critical thinking to patient care.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise and organise own workload.
