We are seeking experienced and skilled individuals to fill key advisory roles at the APS5 and APS6 levels for both ongoing and non-ongoing positions.

The Visitor Economy Initiative
  • Our team leads the development of tourism and visitor economy policy for the Australian Government, delivering a range of grants and providing official statistics.

We collaborate with industry stakeholders, researchers, and Commonwealth agencies to create innovative and effective policy outcomes for tourism. Our insights and data support government ministers in THRIVE 2030, the national visitor economy strategy.

Key ResponsibilitiesAPS5 Policy Advisor Roles
  • Preparing evidence-based policy briefings for government officials and commissions.
  • Delivering research analysis, liaising with stakeholders, and managing complex projects.
  • Providing secretariat support for committees and demonstrating agility in an uncertain environment.
APS6 Policy Advisor Roles
  • Developing high-quality, innovative advice and briefings on visitor economy issues for government deliberations.
  • Liaising with stakeholders to influence policy and programs impacting the Visitor Economy.
  • Establishing task plans to deliver objectives and complex projects in an uncertain environment.
