We are seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Home Support Worker, providing essential care and support to clients in their own homes. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact in people's lives.


About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal care, social support, and capacity-building activities to clients with disabilities, seniors, and those recovering from injuries. They will also assist with domestic tasks such as meal preparation and light household cleaning.

  • Personal care: showering, grooming, dressing
  • Social support: companionship, attending appointments or recreational activities
  • Capacity-building: learning new skills, increasing independence
  • Domestic assistance: meal preparation, grocery shopping, light household cleaning

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • National Police Check (less than a year old)
  • Victorian Driver's License
  • Comprehensively insured, registered car
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or similar discipline
  • Current First Aid and CPR qualifications
