The Healthcare Lead plays a crucial role in providing support, direction, orientation, and education to healthcare professionals. This ensures high-quality patient care through evidence-based guidelines and protocols; drives continuous improvement and compliance with regulatory standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Provide support, direction, orientation, and education to healthcare professionals (Registered Nurses and General Practitioners working across various healthcare services).
  2. Plan and coordinate services relating to client groups or patients in the practice setting, as delegated by the Virtual Health Clinical Workforce Lead and Virtual Health Clinical Operations Lead.
  3. Act as a role model in the provision of holistic care to patients or clients in the practice setting.
  4. Assist in the management of action research projects and participate in quality assurance programs and policy development within the practice setting.
  5. Deliver direct and comprehensive nursing care and individual case management to patients or clients within the practice setting; may include specific groups of patients with complex needs in Virtual Health.
  6. Perform other reasonable responsibilities as directed by the Clinical Operations Manager.

Display and promote ethical behavior and alignment with organizational values and principles.
