We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team in New South Wales.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Workshop repairs and maintenance
  • New machine pre-delivery preparation and inspection
  • Customer satisfaction
  • Safety / Quality
  • Cross-functional support

Main Responsibilities:

  • Fault finding, repairs, and services including but not limited to:
  • Diesel and petrol engines
  • Diesel, petrol, and LPG fuel systems
  • Steering systems
  • Transmissions - hydrostatic, powershift, and manual
  • Brake systems
  • Hydraulic valves and cylinders
  • Electrical starting, charging, and accessories
  • Service and diagnostic repairs
  • Liaise with spare parts team to determine parts required for repairs
  • Complete repair and services within reasonable time frames
  • Process workshop service/repair documentation on a daily basis
  • Work in a safe manner, use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided, and comply with requirements of the current Occupational Safety and Health (OS&H) legislation
  • Other duties as directed
