Maintenance Fitter Job

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our team. This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a manufacturing environment, performing daily servicing, repairs, and maintenance of plant and equipment.

This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to work effectively with production staff and peers. The ideal candidate will have a qualification in Fitting and Turning, experience in Feed Milling and Flour Milling equipment, and knowledge of pneumatic transfer systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Performing daily maintenance tasks, including routine checks and repairs
  • Using CMMS to record history, book hours, spares usage, and close out work orders
  • Collaborating with other team members to achieve common goals

Key Requirements:

  • Fitter and Turner Qualification
  • Restricted Electrical License (desirable)
  • Experience maintaining Feed Milling and Flour Milling equipment or similar environments
  • CMMS experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of pneumatic transfer systems
  • Confined space training and experience
