Job Title: Turbine Blade Technician

 

  • Inspect, repair, de-blade, and re-blade turbine rotors and casings.
  • Disassemble mechanical equipment with precision, ensuring QA compliance.
  • Install and secure turbine blades, supporting rotor balancing (static & dynamic).
  • Work on outages and overhaul projects for power generation and industrial customers.
  • Collaborate with fitters, machinists, welders, and engineers to deliver complete turbine overhauls.

 

Requirements
  • Trade qualification (Fitter/Machinist, Turbine Technician, or similar) with turbine-specific training.
  • Hands-on experience with steam and/or gas turbine maintenance (power generation, oil & gas, or heavy industry ideal).
  • High attention to detail, precision, and safety focus.

 

About the Role

Turbine blade technicians play a vital role in the operation and maintenance of steam and gas turbines. They are responsible for inspecting, repairing, and replacing turbine blades to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
