About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Aged Care Professional to join our team at Opal HealthCare's Kew facility.

Job Summary

This is a permanent, full-time or part-time opportunity for a compassionate and skilled individual to provide high-quality care to our residents. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of aged care principles, and the ability to work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver person-centered care to residents in accordance with their individual needs and preferences;
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements;
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and development;
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal resident outcomes;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III or IV in Individual Support/Aged Care or a related qualification;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues;
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of aged care legislation, policies, and procedures;
